Our stay was very pleasant once we just accepted the conditions of 506.

Loved our location! Within walking distance to many bar/restaurants. Enjoyed the beach outside our back door, pool was also very nice, we used the grills available by the pool. Our place worked well for us. We did have 2 couples so twin beds one of the bedrooms was a little disappointing but they were very comfortable. Furniture is a little worn, patio door/ screen doesn’t glide very easily and washer had a bad odor but overall it was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Very fine, save for a younger crowd exhibiting bad behavior. Running through the hall well after midnight. Loud LOUD loud music on the beach and poolside.

Great beach, room is over priced for unit.

We’ve stayed in several HoS condos and this was my least favorite. For the price (which has gone up $500 a week in the past 5 years) you’d expect perfection. This one doesn’t have the master vanity. The master shower is plumbed incorrectly, which resulted in two days of cold showers until we figured it out. The washer and dryer are ancient, with the dryer showing visible rust. The ice maker doesn’t work. The towels are cheap and scratchy. The location is good, but there are much better condos for less on the property.

This was our second stay at House of The Sun, have been vacationing in Siesta for 33 years. Nothing compares to her beautiful beaches, and warm blue waters.
I have to be honest and this unit left me with a less than favorable review. 2 ceiling fans needed replaced, during our stay, 3.5 hours with maintenance in livingroom and twin bedroom. The sliding glass doors and screens ( which FELL on me) need replaced. The washer it stinks, read previous reviews, not a lie, it needs replaced. There has obviously been water damage in the kitchen, the baseboards are visibly rotting away. The kitchen cabinets , need attention, they are peeling. Oh! The master shower was plummed wrong, turn to cold for hot water( that was another maintenance visit!)
Issues were addressed and the staff informed me that they were aware but that owners had not invested. I suggest that you verify status of unit prior to rental on this one!

Honestly I can't say enough about this property and the kindness of the managers in the office. This property exceeded our expectations. Everything you need is in this place. There were six in my family and we all fit very comfortably. Walk out the back right onto the soft cool sand. The gentleman who you can rent umbrellas from on the beach is very nice and helpful. My sisters and their families have been staying here for years. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great location, clean, plenty of amenities and friendly staff. Liked having the trollies there to take you wherever you want to go and the little plazas across the street for quick and easy shopping. Everyone can’t wait to come back.

Beds were hard , did not get a good night sleep while staying there. Did not like that I couldn’t turn the AC below 72, and couldn’t use my ceiling fan because it was loose and made so much noise

The condo was clean , the living room and dining furniture was New which made me very happy and walls seemed freshly painted . Overall I was happy except for the washer had a terrible odor and bath towels were too thin and scratchy definitely need to change that ! Siesta key is one of my favorites Beach is beautiful!

We have stayed in the house of the sun at various units in the past years. This one was one of the top. The furniture is new and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to cook a meal. The view from the balcony was lovely - you can see a lot of the beach from up there. Highly recommend it :)

Very nice condo, recently updated furnishings, very clean. House of the Sun staff is very accommodating. Great pool and location right on the beach. Siesta Key is beautiful but crowded, lots of people and lots of traffic.

The beach was fantastic as always. Like the new beach chair rental process. The room was very disappointing - worst ever. One of the air conditioners on the roof was extremely loud and vibrating all night long and disrupted our sleep tremendously. this was very disappointing. The only silver lining is the office staff and maintenance team really did try to solve the issue but they were faced with an unwilling/uncooperative owner. Office staff and maintenance people were very nice.

We have been coming to house of the sun for many years. We were disappointed in the condition of the furniture in this unit. It needs to be replaced. Also, it was disappointing that there were not area rugs to wipe your feet

Groceries, or just looking in shops close by. And the drug stores.
The one thing we have found this year is the noise level of the two bars across the street. Very disappointing how loud it is. If you stay close to the road like we did, there is no sitting on the balcony and enjoying the peace and quiet. We are
