Have been coming to House of the Sun for nearly 30 years. The staff is very helpful and your just can't beat the location. I almost hate to recommend it, don't want it to get too crowded next time down.

I have been staying at HOS for almost 30 years-first with my parents and then bringing my own family. It is my favorite vacation destination, and this unit is my favorite. It was bitter sweet this year, altered in many ways by the pandemic. I pray that life is back to "normal" and we return to fully enjoy the experience next year.

We just returned from a three week stay at The House of Sun. The complex is located right on the beach and has easy access to shopping, restaurants and the trolley service that takes you to the village. We are excited to return next year!

If you are looking for a place to stay where you can walk everywhere this is it. Morning coffee, breakfast, beach, lunch, pickleball, dinner and nightlife are all easily accessible. The condo itself is newly renovated and looks better than the pictures. It is a very comfortable place to spend the week.

Lots of outdoor improvements this year-new landscaping and furniture. We used the beautiful gas grills and the new outdoor hightop table with Bluetooth speakers. However, we were missing bathmsts in both bathrooms and a used tool was left hanging behind the bathroom door. And they were replacing the roof-and we stayed on the top floor! Lots of noise and strong smells! The professional thing would have been to tell us at check-in with an apology for the inconvenience. When I mentioned it at check out, we got no response. My family has been coming here for over 30 years. I love the location. You really don't need a car. Lots of good restaurants, bats and shopping within walking distance or easy to use trolley and shuttles.

The condo was very nicely equipped and decorated. Cooked and Served thanksgiving meal for 11 without a hitch. Clean and well maintained

Everyday we woke up to a gorgeous view of the beach in the beautifully decorated and well appointed #502 condo.
We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, sitting on the pristine beach and loved being within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the use of the complimentary trolley.

Unit was beautiful and had fun but noise level at night was really bad...
Location good but bar noise was too loud.
Will probably have to stay somewhere else next time because of bar noise!
Sad to leave because I have rented from you for 30 years

Fabulous, newly decorated property. The facility is very nice. Conveniently located. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only concerns is the loud music from the restaurants and bar across the street. It was supposed to stop at 10:00, but did not. It would be nice to have a few extra washcloths. Be sure to pack your own beach towels too. We love Siesta Key and would stay at this property again, but closer to the beach side to not hear the music. New windows were being installed to help reduce the sound of the music and cheering from the bars.

First time staying at HOS. It was AMAZING! The unit was newly updated, and it felt like home. The HOS staff and Sammy's Rental's really made us feel like family! Location/Location-----steps away from beautiful white sand, blue water and many local establishments for food, drink and night life!!! Shout out to the owner of this unit. Thank you. Already Booked next year!!

We have been coming to House of Sun since the 1980's. Fantastic location! Great staff. Once you park your car you get all you need within walking distance.

We have stayed in this unit for the second time this year. We love the constant updates. The owners take good care of this unit if you get a chance book this unit. Thank you for allowing us to make our family memories here. We have already booked for 2 weeks and 3 days next year.

Very updated, clean and fresh condo. Even better than the pictures since they have new living room furniture and new fans in all rooms. The beach is absolutely beautiful and not overcrowded. Great location making it easy to get to the Village or to Sarasota. Highly recommended. Wish Beach towels were available in unit along with some basic cleaning products like dish soap and laundry detergent.

Wonderful place, loved the condo decor and location re: beach access. Unit is VERY noisy in evening and at night given how lose it is to street and restaurants/bars.

Great rental property the only thing they didn't supply was beach towels but that was not a big deal Davidsons across the street has plenty to choose from

Been coming here to HOS for years. One of the better furnished units at HOS. That was a plus. Late night noise from the bar across the street was unwelcomed. View of the gulf is not too good. Prices are getting sky high. I found better accommodations for less money on Long Boat.

Nice place. However, the club which played music until 2 am every night ruined our stay. We notified management. Their reponse was " they are aware". We will never stay there again. That's how lous and bad it was.

My mom and I have been coming to SK for 20 years. In the last couple of years we have started staying in different condos from what we were used to as that building isn't being kept up to par with their competitors up and down the beach. This unit is nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable (nothing worse than a condo with a terrible bed impacting your vacation!) and the only downside is being across the street from the bars with the loud music after 10pm and later on the weekends. If you like to go to bed early, that is the only drawback to this location and unit. Earplugs work great however! We will be renting again in the future!

This is our 2nd time we rented this condo, the location is great, walking distance to restaurants and shops, also this property has private beach with chairs, the condo is very well equipe it, is modern and clean, comfortable, lot of light, the only thing is the Bar across the street that play music very loud until 2 am the condo has good soundproof windows in the living room, in the bedrooms you might hear some sounds, but not terrible. This is very nice condo, we will come back again.

Everything was better than good! And better then expected.

We stayed in unit 502 over Christmas break, we enjoyed our stay! The unit is clean and up to date, my only complaint is that the water drained slow in the bathtub. Beautiful place, beach, and memories!
