House Of The Sun #414GF

We loved the place. The building is close to the beach and has a great view. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Best experience in Siesta Key!

The property was well maintained & in a great location for us. The other guests that were there during our stay were very friendly as well as the office staff, Justin & Jeff. We checked in on a Sunday when ofc is closed had no problems what so ever, the man on the phone was very nice & helpful as well. Our 4 old granddaughter was with us so we drove up Clearwater Marine Aquarium & Sarasota Jungle Gardens, enjoyed the day at both. I had some health issues & ended up going to Urgent Care Ctr on Tamiami Trail, DR Woodford & staff were great & they even called my home 6 days later to check on me. Really liked the area, the property, everything about this short trip, we will be going back!!

The master bed was very uncomfortable; leaned to one side

Have spent many vacations at HOS over the past 15 years. Location makes it perfect for us and #414GF provides wonderful gulf views. Unit itself is in need of updating; but all-in-all, an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed the 4th of July celebration on the beach. The unit had everything we needed and the location was fantastic.

# 414 is is in a great location in the House of the Sun! Needs more upgrades and the blue carpet needs to finally replaced, the cleaners have a hard job to get it to clean standards! Painting walls would not hurt either! Washer and dryer still work, but very old and rusty!

Beautiful weather. Furnishings could have been more comfortable and I prefer to not have carpet in a 'beach' room. Loved the large balcony.

We woke up to a beautiful day everyday, even the stormy day was beautiful! The only thing I would change are the keys. We had three and one worked ok. I heard it was due to the salt and weather there. Maybe some WD forty would help after each guest leaves. But the place was immaculate and the views phenomenal. We will stay again.

Love the room, wonderful view, very clean. Only request is you need more bath towels. Only 6 were provided so you have to wash towels daily.

This condo was amazing! The view was absolutely breathtaking. The beach was phenomenal and we loved being in the water with the stingrays. It was nice to have everything we needed right across the street. We loved Anna’s deli and Captain Curt’s restaraunt. The unit was very clean, we did have an issue of plumbing backing into the bathtub when we used the washing machine. Definitely coming back again!!

You can’t beat waking up and walking right out to the beach every morning. We’ve been coming here for 20 years and House of the Sun is always clean and well maintained. My kids were a little disappointed that all of the games in the game room were gone except for the ping pong table. The location is great with shops, ice cream, cafes and restaurants in walking distance across the street. Overall, a great stay.

Great view from the balcony. Every employee I spoke to from maintenance to front desk were great, polite, friendly and eager to help. The main office even printed some schoolwork off on their printer for us! Pool was heated and never very crowded. Beach was beautiful. Water in February did not look very blue, more of a greenish brown and pretty cold. We went in a little anyways. Wish they had a hot tub! Unit was very clean, even with the carpet. There were no supplies left from other tenants, I guess due to covid. The unit had nothing except furniture, no games, no cards, no paper, no hair dryer, no menus, nothing! Just empty drawers. They only stock a couple rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. The mirrors on all the walls made the rooms look bigger but were a little confusing at the hallway, and we almost walked into the wall a few times! There were 2 broken chairs laying on the balcony when we arrived, rusted all the way thru so the only seating was the table and 4 chairs on the side. Had a few kids running the hallway after midnight a couple nights but quiet area otherwise. Convenient to walk across street to Captain Curt to eat seafood and listen to live music or walk a couple blocks to Toasted Mango cafe for all day breakfast or lunch. Chairs filled up on beach pretty quickly, although many seemed to be saved chairs with stuff on them but no people in the few hours we would be there.

We have been coming here for about 20 yrs. it is always clean, the staff is nice. It’s quite and relaxing . You never have to worry about a beach chair or lounger. You literally don’t have to drive once there because everything is so close. I love that Captain Curts is right across the street. I won’t go any other place when going to Florida .

We stayed here for one week and we had a fabulous time. The unit was very clean and in great condition. It is also a short walk to the beach. We thought the unit was going to be dated, but it was not in the least. Thanks again for allowing us to rent your unit. We will be back for sure!

Our family has been visiting Siesta Key and staying in this condo (414GF) nearly every summer for the last several years. The location and views are wonderful. I will say that this was the first year that we were a little disappointed in the master suite accommodation. There used to be two beds in the master suite and this year there was only one queen bed and it was very firm and very uncomfortable. Neither my husband or I slept well. We just felt that if you’re only going to offer one bed that it should at least be a King offering more space for two adults. I think last year we purchased a mattress topper for one of the beds in the master during our stay because it was so firm and uncomfortable and we left it there. But it wasn’t on the bed that was in there this year. We have decided to book elsewhere for our 2021 Siesta Key vacation.
