House Of The Sun #405GS

We come to Siesta Key once each year. We try to being one of our five adult children with us each time so we can keep a one on one relationship with them as our family gets older. We’ve found House Of the Sun a very nice place to do this from. We love it’s location. We enjoy having the retail experience right across the street. We love the cleanliness and quality of the beach front. And we love the trolley that gives us rides to the village. There are a few thing House Of the Sun could improve on: provide a few basics in the units like dishwashing and laundry soap and sufficient amount of toilet paper. In the kitchens, provide salt and pepper and liquid dishwashing soap. The office staff needs a morale boost. They never seem to be very happy in the 3 years we’ve been staying at House Of the Sun. We missed seeing a guardsman this year in the premises.

I always enjoy staying at House of Sun with my family. The staff is always very pleasant & very accommodating, the grounds are very well maintained. I love the new landscaping. My family especially enjoyed the new outside grills. Definitely hope to return .

Unit was clean and in nice location. Check-in was easy and staff helpful for a few minor items. The only real issue was the unit door access due to the keys not working very well.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay this week. Our room was perfect for us. We all four love this area and to have a place that was well kept and full of a family friendly accommodation was a blessing. The staff was outstanding and really did and awesome job. Humbly praying with our Lord's blessing we will be back soon.

Great condo, comfortable beds. Everything you need for the week away. Partial ocean view but we did not stay in condo much except sleeping.

Everything was great, the sunsets were phenomenal the room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is not our first time staying at House of Sun and definitely won't be our last.

This is a great place to stay, right on the ocean with a semi view of the ocean. Beds are comfortable, master shower is amazing! However, my room had ants, they did spray 2 days later due to the weekend and that took care of them. They chain the chairs at the pool which is bad you can't face the sun when laying out.

Stayed in 405 again. Has well equipped kitchen. Beds are comfortable. Large TV in living room is a plus. Grills were clean and in good working order. Always enjoy grilling out at least one night during our stay.

We love staying at House of the Sun! The management is welcoming and helpful. The location is great!

The rental was painless and very professionally ran. We had a great time.

The rental unit was clean and met the needs of our family of four. We had two kids ages 8 and 12. There was plenty of dishes and cookware. Great view of the beach (some other roof tops). We could see the water and beach area.

We had another wonderful week in unit 405 at House of the Sun. This unit feels like home as this was our third stay in this unit. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, pots, and pans. This allowed us the opportunity to prepare food within our unit two evenings during our stay. We appreciate that the spare bedroom had a double and a twin bed. The weather was perfect. We enjoy staying in this area due to the restaurants and live music, and shops available right across the street. The staff was helpful and courteous. We look forward to our next trip to House of the sun in June 2021.

The condo #405 was just what we where looking for.

Stayed at House of the Sun for 30 years! Always has friendly/ helpful staff.
This unit had very comfortable beds and all the kitchen items you would need.
Only issue was something new this year. A beach umbrella/chair company takes up 1/2 the available water front space at 6:45 every morning. This limits the area everyone else can set up. Multiple times, the chairs / umbrellas never got rented.
Management needs to rethink this. Leave beach space first come first served as it has been for 30 years Otherwise, HOS is a great place to stay !!!!
