House Of The Sun #403GS

The location,amenities and layout of the property is just perfect. I love having a marked parking space and the security systems in place for this property are unbeatable. Unit 403 was bright and beautifully decorated. This was our 4th year staying at House of the Sun and we have had nothing but an amazing stay each time. Another factor that is a positive is the great food establishments that are directly across the street from the property. I would highly recommend this property for couples and for families with young children or teenagers. It's like our home away from home.

Wow - what can I say - we had another WONDERFUL stay at House of the Sun. This place never disappoints. Room #403 is definitely the place to stay if you are looking for a spotless, colorful and comfy condo. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars. These owners thought of everything!! You can literally park your car for the week. Restaurants, drug store, small grocery store, marina, etc are just across the street. The ONLY thing I would recommend is that management keep a closer watch of their chairs. It was obvious people who are not staying at the HOS are walking on the beach and helping themselves to HOS chairs.

We have been renting at House of Sun for over 10 years, that should show how much we like it there! Our trip is always a pleasure there, good service throughout, they even have the tvs set for closed captioning for me before we arrive! Always great to see old friends arrive year after year and enjoy many sunsets. Great place to stay!

Great 3 weeks. A few minor problems with refrigerator & coffee pot but were taken care of promptly. The room is very homey and clean. We added on a 3rd week this year and it was during the busiest week of spring break. A lot of big groups on the beach so getting a chair closer to water was a challenge. Beach attendant was very nice! Overall fun 3 week winter get away!

Satisfied, but for the rate, the refrigerator water and ice dispenser should work in the unit. Get it fixed please. And small appliances that are broken- toaster, coffee maker are worthless. Dispose or replace.

We love #403 and The House of Sun! Their beach is wonderful. The Mgt. is friendly, helpful and professional. Since 2018 we’ve rented twice a year at House of Sun. The owners of this condo are wonderful. We love the location. There was a group of 60 or so people, give or take, staying at House of Sun this same week (and last year as well). It was party central at the beach. We were disappointed that many (minimum 12) people from this group were waiting for front row beach chairs at 5 AM. (said to me by someone from this group) and since we are all permitted to also mark/save chairs for an additional condo as well, they could save 24 sets of chairs before anyone else had an opportunity. The chairs are not put out until 6:30 AM and with being on vacation we are not going down before 6 AM for our 2 chairs. This same group monopolized the pool every afternoon. That was frustrating. Until last summer we had not experienced this. Now it’s been 2 yrs. in a row with this particular group. It felt as though it was their private pool. We all pay for the same amenities. We all need to be courteous to each other.

As always...a great 2 wk stay in this unit. It is very personally decorated and had all the items we needed (umbrella, chairs, etc.). The process to ove from one unit to another was somewhat confused.

We had a fantastic time. We stayed in unit 403, and it was perfect for our family of 4. The beach was beautiful, pool was great. Couple restaurants nearby but not a lot to walk to. We will definitely be back in the future!

We love House of Sun! #403 is our go to for our June vacation! Unfortunately, this year there was a large group (100) staying there for a wedding. Some of that group were nice but others let their children run the halls at all hours. A neighboring condo ( part of that wedding group)had an issue with us having breakfast on the linai at 8 am with our 5 yr. old granddaughter. They felt because they are from a different time zone we should abide by their sleep schedule. ‍♀️ Perhaps they should have thought about others before letting their children run the hallways at ALL hours.

this unit was wonderful. we have stayed at the house of sun 6 times and this by far is our favorite condo. We have it booked for 2 more times this year!
It has everything you need and more. The decor is very funky and fun. The only suggestion would be instructions on how to use some of the stereo and tv's. There are so many different light switches it can get confusing but the colored lights in the unit are so cool. We had 2 couples and there was enough room for everyone. Love this place!

Great spot, not the first time we’ve stayed here. The not being able to get more than 2 beach chairs with a 6 person reservation??? And now a 50 dollar per day guest parking pass ?? Understand people take advantage of every situation they possibly can.... But will probably have to look around before rescheduling

Always awesome , bars across street need to turn the volume down , master bed could bE replaced . Other than that place is beautiful . I stayed in that condo years ago it was remodeled beautifully. It’s kinda Ridiculous how much rebuilding is going on kind of worried that that 800 person or a room hotel is it going to Put too many people on the overcrowded key . Anyways see ya soon

This unit was a fabulous place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. Having extra blankets and towels in the unit was a great touch. This was the first trip away from home in two years and was just what my husband and I needed. I’m OCD on everything being clean and tidy when coming into a unit and this met every box, it made it easy to leave it exactly the same way when our trip was over. I wanted to make sure I gave it the same care that the owners give to each guests. The only two things I could suggest for the unit is that there needs to be handles placed on the sliding glass door frame inside and out to make it easier opening and closing the doors. As it stands you have to place your hands on the glass to get a grip for the door to open. For someone that is very scent sensitive that cause migraines I would suggest that nothing decorative for the unit or cleaning supplies be as scent free as possible. I’m not saying it smelled unpleasant at all, it’s just that there were a few things I had to sit out on the balcony or cover with a towel in order for me to not suffer from a continuous migraine. There was an auto spray item by the door that was not necessary at all. A clean unit doesn’t need the added smells. Being scent sensitive is a terrible thing to have and not everyone understands or educated about this condition. More individuals are suffering from this. So please don’t take this as a bad negative at all just wanted to make you more aware what may not effect one person can greatly effect another. I would come and stay in this same unit again and maybe sometime soon we will be able to. God Bless Bobbi M

We spent a wonderful week staying in #403. The condo is wonderful. The grounds are well maintained and the beach is beautiful. Front office management is friendly and professional. . The location is close to shopping and restaurants.

This is our 4th year at House of Sun and it never disappoints. Be careful in selection of unit. Some really dated. 403 was awesome...could use a newer TV and coffee pot that shuts off automatically. Small things. Overall great unit..best one so far on our many trips there.

We were very happy with the staff, accommodations and cleanliness. The unit was tastefully decorated and had everything you needed . The view was spectacular and the decks were awesome to watch the sunsets. Everyone we meet was so nice . Fabulous experience and would recommend To anyone who wants a great vacation.

Had the most relaxing time....used the balcony 100% of the time...nice for avoiding people...we have been coming here for years and it only gets better.....thankyou...
