Overall, an awesome experience at House of the Sun and our unit 215 was wonderful

Location is spectacular. Easy access to beach and pool. Walk across the street for all shopping: from groceries to beachwear. Wonderful variety of restaurants from which to choose!

Nice condo and community. Pool, tennis, pickleball, beach just steps away. Great view of beach and sunsets.

The owner should think about getting a new washer and dryer also a new rug and coffee table plus the outside patio table should be replaced.....

Beautiful location, Spacious unit nicely decorated but couch old and uncomfortable. Both twin beds very uncomfortable. Master King mattress was comfortable.
Given cost shouldn’t have to buy liquid dish detergent and a sponge

Best Stay - Vaca Ever! Love HOS!

Location of this unit is perfect. you walk right down the stairs to the pool or walk right out to the beach. Unit was clean and had almost everything we needed. There were some beach toys in the closet to use. We could’ve used a pizza pan but that’s minor. There were some plumbing issues and we had to call maintenance but management was great working with us, I love the top deck on house of sun to watch the sunset. I also like that there are beach chairs and a beach attendant to put up an umbrella. Very close to restaurants and shops, and just a short drive down to the village for more shopping and restaurants but there are more crowds at the village so it’s nice to be on this end of the key. It is less crowded. We will stay here again.

Love the H.O.S. staff members - friendly, efficient, helpful. Our unit was clean and all we expected of a nice oceanfront condo.

We enjoyed our 9 days at House of Sun. The facility is well maintained as was the beach. The new policy with only 2 beach chairs per unit was concerning as we paid for 6 persons in the unit. We adjusted by renting chairs and umbrella, but probably would not have if we were allotted 6 chairs. We have been staying in this unit for a few years and really enjoy the location and view. Construction noise at the nearby new Condo was present, but not objectionable when at the pool or beach. Furniture and bedroom carpet are due for an update. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to next year.

We stayed in 215 and loved the view, the convenience to the pool and the beach.
Condo was clean and well-stocked. Staff was helpful when needed. The number of pop up tents in front of the property, especially on the weekend, makes it difficult to find a spot on the beach a little later in the day. Except for the red tide, we had a nice, relaxing stay.

A group of families set up about 5 pop up tents along the beach front in the very early hours of the morning. This left little to no room for umbrellas and chairs for other guests. Often these families wouldn’t even get to the beach until after lunch. I witnessed people moving other people’s chairs to make room for themselves. I would suggest HOS either ban the pop ups like many other condos/hotels do or designate a place on the beach for area for them. Your facilities man, Lee, is a very dedicated employee who is respectful, kind, and holds the guests satisfaction as his priority.

This was by far the worst stay I've ever had in my 15 years at HOS. The unit was dirty when we go there-none of the tvs in the bedrooms worked at all, the living room tv didn't have HD. Also, the entire 2nd floor would smell like marijuana most of the day, but I couldn't tell where it was coming from to call the front desk. There were some very rowdy guests have pool parties very late at night, shooting off fireworks, cursing in the pool-very gross behavior. I normally come in April and May, so this is not the norm. My family and I were very disappointed in the condition of the room and the experience as a whole.

We totally enjoyed our stay at House of the Sun! The unit was clean, everything was in good working order, the amenities were good!!!
Only suggestion, providing beach umbrellas would be an added plus!
Would definitely rent this unit again

We have stayed at House of Sun two times in 2020 had a great vacation. Both properties were clean and well maintained, I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. Love to eat at Captain Kirk's it is across the street.

We had a great stay at House of Sun. We were in unit 215GF. Our balcony was huge and we loved sitting out in the morning and late evening watching the sunrise and sunset. The condo was very well cared for and was stocked very well with most everything we needed. The only thing I suggest is maybe some beach towels. WE would totally stay here again without hesitation!
