House Of The Sun #210GV

We loved our vacation experience at House of the Sun, Siesta Key, FL. While it was a multi-story building we felt like we were the only ones there. We walked on the beach and utilize the pool each day. Typically when we visit a new location (first time to Siesta Key) we explore the surrounding area. This trip was different - we stayed local. On our 20 hour drive home we both agreed this was a vacation. Thanks to the staff for making our visit special. When choosing a unit we used their web site to view the pictures. and we weren't disappointed in the least. Our unit was exceptional.

We have stayed at this property for years. The best service and location is PERFECT!

A beautiful apartment where every little detail is so nice.
Perfect for a family or two couple and for us.
We enjoyed very much to walk right out on the beach.
We took long promenads on the beach, rented bikes.
Despite the distansen to Stockholm I should recommend Siesta Key for any Swede and to stay at House of the Sun.

We have been renting this same unit at House of the Sun for several years now for a two week winter getaway. The property is clean and well maintained. This unit is also very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and the location is perfect for us. We love to walk the beach every morning and enjoying the sun set in the evening.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at House of the Sun. A few technical problems that were swiftly and efficiently handled by the staff. Weather was cool but we managed to shop, see movies and eat out at some nice restaurants in the area. Lovely stay.

This condo was very nice. It had everything we needed and was very clean. It was in a great area to walk to everything. We would rent it again!

This unit is updated with high end appliances and beautiful decor. It is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect, can walk to most anything you will need. We have stayed at The House of the Sun multiple times and this is the best unit we have stayed in! The carped in the building halls needs to be replaced.

We had a wonderful stay in Siesta Key at House of the Sun unit 210. We have been staying here for many years. The location is great and the property is well kept and always spotless when we arrive.

From booking to payment schedule to check in to check out it was all a breeze.

We loved our stay at House of the Sun! Our condo was beautifully furnished and fully stocked with everything you would need in a home away from home. There were plenty of bath towels but beach towels are not supplied (we always bring our own regardless). The location is perfect! Across the street from wonderful shops and restaurants and right on the beautiful white sands of Crescent Beach! Management staff were helpful and friendly. The only amenity we would have liked to see was an outdoor hot tub on-site, but that didn’t take away from an awesome vacation!

It is walkable and there are trolleys to get you there. We prefer being away from the village. The condo unit 210 that we stay in each year is well maintained and well stocked.

Our unit 210 was remodel with an exquisite decoration! Top of the line appliances and furniture. With plenty of linen and bedding!

The room and property was perfect, on the beach with all amenities one could hope for. The property is well run and employees are all very professional and friendly. The maintenance crew specifically took time out of their day to greet our 1 year old and brought her a treat to our room for her. Whatever the maintenance crew is being paid isn’t enough.

I probably will go back to this condo, but after nearly 20 years of my family staying here, there is a new ridiculous rule out in action- the 2 chair rule. A condominium company that charges several thousand dollars per week that often houses groups of 4-6 only allows 2 chairs to be used on the primary reason anyone comes to this place, the beach. This rule is outrageous in that one must spend more money to comfortably spend time on the beach after paying thousands to have a room. We all want to increase profits, but this felt unnecessary and will cause me to look at other options, something I haven’t done when visiting Siesta Key for nearly 20 years. I understand the need to monitor chair usage, but it would make sense that all people staying in the room were allowed a chair.

The unit is always clean when we arrive and if we need anything, the staff are always helpful. The location is great for us as we prefer this area. It’s across the street from several restaurants and shopping. It’s probably about a 2 mile hike to the village of Siesta Key but you can take one of the many trolleys that go there. The beach is amazing and about 2.5 miles long for great walking. And this year they have added an umbrella rental option which we loved.

Check in and out was simple. Condo was comfortable and clean. Beach was amazing.

Our stay was very nice. We enjoyed the kitchen with all its amenities. The furniture was pretty good but the people who stayed in our guest room said the bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The thing that would annoy me a bit was in The master bedroom, we tried to use the tv and it would lag and cutout so much it wasnt worth it to watch. Also, when we booked room 210GV it said there would be a pullout couch in the living room and there wasn’t. The “gulf view” was minuscule and I wouldn’t label it as such. Otherwise, condo was nice and the pool was a nice feature.

As usual House of the sun property was in top shape. Management is always excellent. My new issue is the beach rental umbrellas using House of the sun lounge chairs are set up on all of the front edge of the beach at 6:30 in the morning so there is no nice place to sit on the edge as it is all taken up... the beach seems and appears very crowded. Because of this we will be considering a different location for future stays.

The condo, staff, and beach were all a dream come true. We won’t forget the memories we made!

This unit is beautiful. The artwork and style is great and everything was so clean. We really enjoyed our stay! The grounds were very well maintained. I'm not sure how it was supposed to sleep 6 though as the couch did not appear to be a pull out bed. As another reviewer mentioned the master shower only has hot water and it was way too hot after getting too much sun at the beach.

We have been coming to House of the Sun for 12 years and love the place. A few items about #210GV: Master bathroom shower is only hot water, no cold, living room could use a recliner/more seating, kitchen lacks a pantry area with shelves like other units we have stayed in.
