So fun

We have stayed at the HOS before and love the location of the property. We knew the unit was a little outdated based on the pics but only staying for a week and most of the time we would be outside anyhow. However, the mattress in the master suite was horrible and needed replaced prob 10 years ago! Property manager did the best they could to help. Owner just needs to cough up the cash and replace it already! Especially with the price of rentals these days! The rest of the unit was fine for the week. Appliances in the kitchen were newer as well as the flooring in the main areas. Living room furniture was newer and clean, just not comfortable.

Always been very pleased with House of the Sun and management of property. This condo a bit dated with furniture and appliances, etc. sliding doors did not function very well due to age and effects of salt water on them. I would still stay there again but would look for something else to be available first if possible. Did call upon maintenance to check things out and they were very responsive. Condo not as clean as has been in the past.

The condo was very clean. Fairly well-equiped. Very convenient to beach & shops.

We love the house of the sun. Perfect environment, location. Will never go anywhere else!!!! Can’t wait for next year

This was our third time staying at house of the sun. As always we had a great time ! Front desk folks are always nice and everyone in the complex. Looking forward to our next stay .

The second floor location is amazing! We felt safe to let our 7 and 9 year old run back and forth from the pool to the room as needed. The location of House of Sun is the best in all of Siesta Key! It's across from so many local places to eat, the convenience store, drug store, rentals and gift shops. You don't need a car as you can walk anywhere you need to go or take the trolley downtown!

This is an awesome property to stay at and we have for the past 4 years, my only complaint was there's not enough lounge chairs on the deck 4 & 5 a lot less than last year, but we definitely want to stay there again next year!

The unit was full of sand when we arrived, I had to clean, the oven takes forever to heat, the refrigerator cools very low (freezer OK) the bed in the master sags terribly in the middle, the master bath tile is held up with tape, the kitchen was ill equipped. All the owners care about is making their money so I blame in great part the management company since they should check every apartment when the tenants leave and make sure that the apartments comply with minimum standards of comfort and cleanliness. This apartment should not be rented in the condition that it is in.

Availability to rent a tent or umbrella on the beach very handy. Our only downside was a broken out patio door which caused some slight problems due to very warm weather and keeping our unit cool. Will not be a problem once that is repaired.
