House Of The Sun #202GS

Have stayed at the House of the Sun for the past six years and look forward to many more. The location is convenient, the accommodations are clean , comfortable, and inviting. The staff is awesome.

This condo is wonderful. Stayed for 2 weeks the beginning of March. It's a great location! If we had any issue they took care of it immediately.

The rental was nice. We typically stay at house of the sun every year to every other year. We have close friends who are owners and have been coming down together for years with our families. We are always very comfortable here, love the location, love the clean private beach and the close proximity to other attractions. It’s truly a family destination with a lot of family history for us and always great memories.

For the past 15 years my family and friends have stayed at House of the Sun and we absolutely love it here. I think this rental needs some updating and we missed the cozy recliner, it was gone and nothing had been replaced. The only other thing I was disappointed in was that the wash ruined some of our clothes. some of our items was wrapped around the belt and grease was on our clothes, plus it's in a bad location. Other than that I love this condo and House of the Sun, I just hope they do make some changes before my visit next year.

The condo was clean it could be updated, and needs more kitchen items to use to cook with. We had to buy our own skillet while we were there. I like the patio doors, the location was much closer to the road than expected very little view of ocean, and you could hear the bars and live music which was actually fine with us except for the Harleys coming and going all night echoed and was really loud.
Did like the size, loved the lady that put the chairs out and you could rent the umbrellas from, she was great! Love the low sitting beach chairs that they had. The pool was ok but not really big enough for that large of a complex. I was very thankful that the management were able to accommodate our stay after our regular condo had suffered damage from the hurricane and could not open in time for our stay. And I would consider House of Sun in the future if our little place is ever unavailable. Just be prepared for street noise again we enjoyed the live music every night but the motorcycles echoing back took the fun of the live music and enjoyment of the patio in the evening.
I was happy with the overall location of House of Sun just not this particular unit.

Love the location of House of the Sun. Easy access to stores and restaurants. We had a bit of a problem, no fault of theirs, when we went to check into this unit. The people before us were not out on time and the cleaning staff had to rush through cleaning. Once we got in it and a fe issues corrected it was an ok room, needs updating and restaurant’s music was loud at night. We had a great time and met some very nice. people.

Our unit was not what I expected. The bedrooms’ furniture was just tolerable. To say that the rest of the apartment was vintage is an understatement. The lazy boy was broken. I had to address that with management. They promptly removed it. Unfortunately I saw it in the hallway each time we went out. The unit is close to the street so the bar’s music (till 2 am) is in your balcony and unit. I personally wouldn’t rent that unit again. The owners need to invest in renovation. To top it off, Red Tide also got to us. Big disappointment all around. Left after a couple of days.

We had an excellent rental this year! My family & friends have been renting condos at the House of the Sun for the past 12 years and we absolutely love it. My rental was very clean and updated this year. I’ll definitely book it again. One suggestion though, the description for this rental doesn’t say it has a pull out couch bed, but it does which was a plus!!

Beach was beautiful, a little disappointed by the amount of beach tents up. Made it feel extremely crowded and more like a public beach feel. Condo was nice. Only complaints would be the master bed has no support and was hard to sleep on. Also the dishwasher would never drop the soap so I had to do dishes by hand. Also because of this some of the dishes were dirty upon arrival.

Very nice condo. Everything as described. Clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Great location. Close to everything. The trolley service was a great service.

Unit needs much updating and too loud at night with windows open and bar across street.

This was a great place to vacation. Everything is at your fingertips. The unit was clean and cozy. Definitely coming back in the future
